A Blue and Ivory Beach Wedding at The Citadel Beach House in Isle of Palms, South Carolina

Avery Eslocker (27 and a teacher) and Casey Euart (29 and owner of Coastal Green Landscapes) had a stunning, rustic Low Country beach wedding. Wanting to give their guests a taste of their laid-back, beachy lifestyle, the couple chose The Citadel Beach House in Isle of Palms, South Carolina, for their venue. They loved the perks of beach access for the ceremony, the oversize nautical yard for the cocktail hour and the beautiful wooden ballroom for the reception. The couple used a soft blue and ivory color palette to represent the natural colors of their beachside bash, but made sure none of the colors were overdone, but just simply suggested. Riverland Studios beautifully captured all the details of the day. Wanting to add a little personalization to their wedding, they did a lot of details themselves, such as the classic floral arrangements. One of the best parts was Avery’s wedding dresses. She wore a strapless Watters Wtoo lace wedding dress with her mother-in-law’s cathedral veil for the ceremony. She donned some ivy vines and white ranunculus in her stylish updo for a little bohemian flair in her look. But after the ceremony, Avery changed into a gorgeously simple sheath J.Crew dress that allowed her to dance and let loose at the reception. Avery and Casey love dancing -- they actually fell in love shag dancing -- and their bluegrass band had everyone on the dance floor all night. “We gave our guests an amazing party,” Avery says. “We didn't stop dancing for a minute. The music and the setting reflected us best.”
