A Black-and-White Winter Wedding at Wyndham Irvine in Irvine, California

After years of playing an integral role in other couple's weddings, Jenna (25 and a wedding photographer) had a pretty good idea of what she wanted for her own nuptials to Justin Joseph (23 and a worship leader). "I really wanted the overall look to be classic and timeless yet still tie in to who we are as a couple," Jenna says. In the end, the hardest part was their vastly different styles. "Justin loves dark, modern and sleek, while I love light, whimsical and soft. He loves vibrant colors, and I love earthy tones," Jenna says. "We narrowed it down to black and white, and when I found out that one of Justin's favorite guitars is black and gold, I knew I had found our accent color: gold." To ensure a sophisticated and airy vibe, the couple focused on shades of white and ivory for the decor, leaving only the attire and a few accents in black. Then they added personal touches—like nods to their love for vintage films and music—that brought it all to life. —Meghan Overdeep
