They used an appropriate red, black and tan palette to round out the classic with a twist look.

The seven-tiered cake was topped with red and white sugar flowers, plus a little airplane embellishment.
Menu Cards
Candelabras with red votives inside were the perfect final touch to some of the tables.
The escort cards featured cute red plane illustrations.
The airplane hangar turned chapel was decorated with draping and red roses.
Each table was named with airplane pilot lingo and set in a bejeweled frame.
The red plane that inspired the day was parked inside.
Ruched chair covers, finished with black bows, coordinated with the modern-chic vibe at the reception.
The bridesmaids wore romantic black dresses with plunging V-necklines, while the guys were more casual in linen suits and white shirts.
Boutonnieres
For dinner and dancing, Lauren changed into a sexy fitted dress with crystal-encrusted straps.
Some reception tables featured submerged roses in tall vases surrounded by more lush roses.
