A Bicycle Themed Wedding at the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida

Meghan Manion, 36, and Nathan (Nate) Deal, 36, had a simple wedding at the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida. They were brought together by the Ironman Triathlon. “Meghan was in town preparing to compete in her first half iron distance triathlon and Nate was in town as a part of the race crew,” she says. The couple incorporated bicycle accents throughout their wedding to reflect their relationship. “We tried to include the bicycle/triathlon theme as that spoke to how we met and how we spend our lives together.” Mint and gray were chosen as the wedding colors. After six months of planning, Meghan and Nate had a beach ceremony with 100 friends and family members. The couple ensured Nate’s two children were ?included in the wedding by giving each a gift during the ceremony. They also served as the flower girl and ring bearer for the day. Meghan and Nate’s simple white arch was decorated with lush floral arrangements that included yellow carnations, purple cymbidium orchids. The couple and their guests had a day filled with music. After the ceremony, all moved to the pool lawn for a cocktail hour of sushi and hors d'oeuvres complemented with live acoustic guitar music by Dr. Jimmy Moore. The celebration then moved into the Harbor Ballroom where the couple mad an entrance to the tune of a live bagpipe player. The couple decorated the space with simple white linens, white covered chairs with green sashes and low floral centerpieces. A DJ from Expert Productions continued to provide music as Matt, Nate and their guests enjoyed the night.
