A Beachside Wedding at Riu Palace Bavaro in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Sasha Lifleur (23 and a nurse) and Richard Barrett (25 and an engineer) wanted their destination wedding to reflect their simple, classic personalities. A color palette of gray, light pink and white, with a mint accent color helped bring their vision to life. Sasha wore a gorgeous Esme gown with a beaded, jeweled bodice, and carried a simple, romantic bouquet filled with pink and white roses. The groomsmen wore Vera Wang tuxedos with pastel pink bow ties which matched the bridesmaids in their floor length mint dresses. The ceremony was held outdoors, on the beach, underneath a tropical arch made of palm trees and flowers. The couple held a sand pouring ceremony. The reception was held indoors, with round white LED tables that glowed, which complemented the buffet style menu which featured ceviche in martini glasses, Caribbean lobster and a three-tier wedding cake decorated in white and pink roses.
