A Beach Wedding at the Postcard Inn Beach Resort and Marina in Islamorada, Florida

Tasmin Bosich (30 and an account executive) and Shane Brosche (39 and a business owner) met while on vacation in the Bahamas. Over their 11 month engagement, the couple planned a beach-themed wedding reminiscent of that day. They decided to have a beach ceremony and indoor reception at the Postcard Inn Beach Resort and Marina in Islamorada, Florida. Bright coral color and starfish accents were used throughout the wedding to complement their theme. The Atlantic ocean became a natural backdrop for the couple’s ceremony as black lanterns, starfish and baby’s breath decorated the aisle. Palm trees waved in the wind as Tasmin and Shane said “I do.” After the ceremony, a festive steel drum band entertained 88 guests during the cocktail hour. The music continued into the reception as Private Stock, a 10-piece band, played in the background. Each round table was set with ivory linens, coral napkins and metallic lanterns. A lush arrangement of white hydrangea, white roses, coral protea and coral roses were placed at the center. After dinner, the couple incorporated their beach theme into an assortment of desserts. Chocolate starfish topped cupcakes and key lime tarts to represent the Florida Keys were available for each guest. Tasmin, Shane and their guests spent the night enjoying each other’s company and dancing on the beach. “We met dancing on a beach and being able to do the same at our wedding with an amazing band and having all of our family and close friends join in made it even more special,” says Tasmin.
