A Backyard, Vineyard Wedding at a Private Residence in Bryantown, Maryland

Shaina Carrico (29, service representative) and Patrick Murphy (34, manager) were set up by Shaina’s sister and her husband. They dated for ten years before Patrick popped the question. He proposed on a vacation to a North Carolina beach, dragging Shaina out of bed at sunrise and presenting her with a beautiful cushion cut diamond ring. They decided to have their wedding in their backyard, which happens to be a part of Patrick's parents' vineyard. Their ceremony was held under a gazebo, and the tented reception was held near rows and rows of grape vines. Shaina and Patrick chose a lovely color palette of wine red, white and gray, which went beautifully with the rustic vineyard. Bouquets and centerpieces featured bright, red and white alstroemeria, dusty miller, white peonies, pink hydrangeas and baby's breath, which were arranged in burlap and lace wraps and blue mason jars. Going with the winery setting, a customized wine barrel doubled as a guest book for guests to sign and a cards box, and Shaina and Patrick gave their guests mini jars of sunflower seeds as favors. Shaina and Patrick's scenic backyard vineyard will always hold the memories of their beautiful and romantic wedding day.
